I bought 2nd (not “perfect” enough for retail) Honey Crisp apples. I went basic on them. Nutmeg, cinnamon, & sugar. For the topping I used brown sugar, oats, flour, & (an unhealthy) amount of butter. 20 minutes till it comes out of the oven.

Forget that:
1/2 gallon of Apple Cider... NOT vinegar
2 cinnamon stick
EVERCLEAR
Heat Cider and Cinnamon to boil. keep boiling 10 minutes. Cool. Pour cooled into original container, add EVERCLEAR to bring to original container fill.
Chill and shake to mix.
